Mountain biking is one of the activities offered by Atlas Experience, alongside our escapes, day trips and treks. We have no fixed mountain-bike programme: each ride is arranged on request, around places we know well.
The Skoura palm grove
Skoura is one of the largest palm groves in the South, close to Ouarzazate. If you enjoy sport, you can explore it by mountain bike rather than by 4x4, without missing the Kasbah Amridil, a 17th-century architectural gem.
A mountain-bike day in the Magic of the South
In our Magic of the South family holiday, the day devoted to the Skoura palm grove can be spent either by mountain bike or on foot, with a local guide: the oasis irrigation system, oasis life, the Kasbah Amridil, then lunch with a family in the heart of the palm grove.
The Amethyst Track
A beautiful track leaves Ouarzazate and reaches the village of Toundoute across the ochre and green plateaux south of the Atlas. It can be done as a 4x4 excursion or by mountain bike.
