Fint oasis
A hidden oasis among volcanic rocks, 20 km from Ouarzazate.
Twenty kilometres south of Ouarzazate, at the end of some ten kilometres of track accessible by 4x4, the Fint oasis lies hidden among volcanic rocks. The Fint river waters the villagers’ plots; most of them live from subsistence farming and tourism.
With a local guide, you discover on foot the traditional irrigation system and how harvests are shared, before tea or a meal with a local family. With or without water depending on the season, the oasis remains a lost paradise, far from the tourist trail.
