Once a resting place for caravans coming from the Sahara, the Skoura palm grove stretches for 25 km among palm trees and old ksour, south of the Atlas and close to Ouarzazate. Its tracks lead to the Kasbah Amridil, a 17th-century residence of the pasha that overlooks the oasis.
You can explore it by 4x4, on foot with a local guide or, if you enjoy sport, by mountain bike: the oasis irrigation system, potters’ and woodworkers’ workshops, and lunch with a family in the heart of the palm grove.
