Ouarzazate – Todgha – Merzouga
Meet at 8am outside your accommodation, load the luggage and set off for the desert! The first stop is in Skoura, in front of the famous Amridil kasbah, which dates from the 17th century and enjoys a fine view over the palm grove. We continue to the Todgha (Toudra) gorges, towering ochre cliffs in the heart of the Tinghir palm grove, for a short walk before lunch.
In the afternoon we head for the dunes of Erg Chebbi via Erfoud, known for its fossilised stones. In Merzouga you meet the camel drivers and set off on a camel ride to enjoy a magnificent sunset over the dunes. Arrival at the desert camp, with dinner and overnight in a comfort or luxury tent.
