The golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, reached by camel for a night at a desert camp.
On the edge of Merzouga, Erg Chebbi unfolds its golden sand dunes. After Erfoud, known for its fossils, and the souk of Rissani, an old caravan crossroads, the camel drivers are waiting to take you by camel to the evening’s desert camp, at sunset.
Depending on the tour, you spend the night at a comfort camp with private showers and toilets, or in a comfort tent, sometimes with Berber music and entertainment. At sunrise, the light on the dunes is a magical moment, especially for photography lovers.
